Claims Adjuster Trainee

Monroe Louisiana! Immediate hire! Entry-level career opportunity for recent college graduate with high profile Insurance company.

My client offers an extensive corporate training program for sharp college graduate.

Claims Adjuster responsibilities:

  • Train to handle & settle property & casualty insurance claims.
  • Investigate, analyze & evaluate Property & Casualty personal lines insurance losses
  • Will work both inside office & outside with daily travel in surrounding area only
  • Report, negotiate and settle Property & Casualty claims of minimal to moderate complexity
  • Occasionally will handle low complexity commercial claims.
  • Render decisions in an informed, confident and timely manner
  • Calculate and approve payment of claims within a certain monetary limit

Claims Adjuster requirements:

  • Bachelor’s College Degree REQUIRED
  • Business related or Criminal Justice Degree needed
  • Must have a solid GPA & a good driving record
  • Solid organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
  • Strong customer service orientation with high conflict resolution talents
  • Ability to think critically & make sound business decisions
  • Accurate, detailed & thorough
  • Any exposure to construction a plus
  • North Louisiana resident
